In 2023, Intersection was presented at Associazione 21 (Lodi, Italy) as a site-specific installation adapted to the architecture of the space, maintaining the artistic direction of Silvia Cabrera Vilaplana.

In this iteration, the relationship between painting, projection, and the viewer’s body becomes more radical, transforming the exhibition space into an immersive environment where perception is constantly shifted. The image is no longer organized on a flat surface, but unfolds within space, directly affecting the visitor’s body.

The installation incorporates the soundtrack Superficial Acts of Metaphysical Rebellion by Flavio Ferri and Ulrich Sandner, and expands during the opening with a sound performance by Paolo Maggis linked to his musical project tHE cRAVING rOOTS.

This second phase consolidates Intersection as an open perceptual device, capable of adapting to each context and activating new relationships between image, space, and body.
